THE ONLY SOAP I BUY!!

I stumbled upon Alaffia by way of their agbangakarite.com site over 4 years ago because I was on the wake of a natural movement when I lived in WA state. I did so much research on African skin care and was determined to find the best way to heal and purify my skin. Once I gave birth to my second child I found it to be very difficult to make my own skin products using the Unrefined Shea and the black soap they sell on the aforementioned site, so I found their Alaffia site a couple years later after many different trials with other soaps. They had a link for their Beautiful Curls products which I remember using on my daughters hair many years ago (which I LOVED those products for hair thick curly hair). I am glad to have found this black soap brand after so much research on the soap. I love that it's real black soap and it's brown not dyed black like some companies do. I had stopped using it for a while and when I moved back to Arkansas, I found my skin beginning to act up. I went through a year of trial and error again and having nothing actually work. Someone suggested I use black soap and I insisted I'd tried it and it didn't work but then I decided to try it again and actually use it on my face again. Low and behold, my skin began to clear up. I started using the Extra Strength kind solely for my face and within a short amount of time (a couple months) my face began to look so smooth and clear. So much so that my boyfriend would ask me, (and still does) if I am wearing makeup, (which I don't wear unless I'm going out and would try and cover some of my acne and the scars.) My skin is so healthy and beautiful and with consistent use I haven't been breaking out even through the times of the month where I have broken out in the past. It is definitely something I will not stop using as long as they make it.I just with the shipping was a bit faster!!
Great for clearing the skin

I bought this soap for my son. I first discovered this soap at TJMaxx and I use it on my son because he had a bad rash that would not go away. As soon as I started using the soap I seen results the next day. So I ordered a refill from your website.
I love the Tingly feeling

I love this products tingly feeling. A lot of black soaps I've purchased in the past have burned my face for the first half of me using it and then as I keep on going with the product the burning sensation disperse. But this here did burn me he first time I used it, until I noticed why. I rent to scratch my face a lot and really try to pop those few set of pimples I have my face and get rid of them. So for sure the burning was due to me scratching the surface of my skin. So those who are going off that it's burning when using it, ask your self this- what are you doing to your skin?
