Handwoven African Mini Market Basket
Our mini market baskets are used traditionally in Togo, West Africa to carry produce to and from markets or farms. Members of Alaffia basket cooperatives receive fair wages and health care for their families in return for indigenous skills and knowledge. This exchange empowers West African communities and preserves cultural heritage.
Care and Use: To reshape your basket, spray lightly with water, shape and air dry thoroughly. Avoid direct light for best color retention.
*Due to each basket’s one-of-a-kind characteristics, as well as the creative decision-making left to each weaver, the basket you receive may vary in color and pattern from the basket shown.

These are beautiful unique baskets! They were easily reshaped by misting with water. Love them! They will be filled with goodies for Christmas gifts.
Pretty and useful

I purchased this basket for my hair dryer, hair curlers, and brushes. It's definitely not "mini" like the description says. It's a good size basket. Big enough to hold 4 full size 32oz soap bottles. It's VERY well made with vibrant colors and looks beautiful on my counter. I will definitely purchase more of these.
